Chris Squire from Yes & Steve Hackett formerly of Genesis (he left in '77) have joined forces to form the band Squakett, and they will be releasing their debut album early in 2012. During a recent conversation Steve Hackett had with Blog Talk Radio, he said about the band's material, “There’ll be certain things on there that I think you’ll be hard-pressed to say this is a combination of guys that have come from Genesis and Yes. I think it’s bigger than that. We cast a wider net over all the genres.”
