Released on June 13, 2006, 12 Gardens Live is a live concert album featuring a compilation of Billy Joel songs he performed during a 12-night run of shows at New York City's Madison Square Garden, in early 2006. 12 Gardens Live is the first concert album to feature Piano Man performed live, the song many label as Billy Joel's defining hit. While many of his other hits are also featured on 12 Gardens Live, they are performed in a different key to coincide with Billy Joel's deepening voice.
