Description
This CBGB & Omfug fashion tshirt is by Dirty Cotton Scoundrels and features the legendary punk and alternative rock music club's famous logo as well as the club's address, in the Bowery section, of New York City.
Opened in 1973, in New York City's Bowery section of the East Village, by Hilly Kristal, as a biker and dive bar for live performances of Country, Bluegrass and Blues (CBGB) and Other Music for Uplifting Gormandizers (OMFUG), the club became a haven for the burgeoning punk rock and new wave sounds coming out of New York City, during the mid-late 1970s. Bands and artists that got their start at CBGBs, as it is affectionately called, are The Ramones, Talking Heads, and Blondie among many others.
Made from 100% gray fitted cotton, our CBGB & Omfug men's unisex Dirty Cotton Scoundrels tee features the club's famous logo and Home of Underground Rock slogan, on the front. The back highlights the club's New York City address. The materials and graphics feature distressed and washed out effects, for a fashionably vintage look.
