Description
This David Bowie necklace spotlights the lightning bolt that was painted across David Bowie's face on the album cover of his sixth studio release, Aladdin Sane.
Bowie's follow up to Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars, Aladdin Sane was released on April 13, 1973, and while not as well received as Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars, the picture of David Bowie, with the lightning bolt, on the front cover of Aladdin Sane, photographed by Brian Duffy, is considered one of the most iconic images in both David Bowie's and rock n roll history.
Handmade from fine English pewter, by a small crew of artists and craftsmen, in Leicester, England, our David Bowie lightning bolt pendant hangs from a 21" chain, with a brass closure, which are both plated in pewter.
