JOHNNY MARR, OF THE SMITHS, EMBARKING ON SOLO TOUR
In support of his new album, "Playland," available on October 7, Smiths co-songwriter and lead guitarist, Johnny Marr, will be teaming up with his band mates from his previous solo release, 2013's "The Messenger," to perform a 30-date concert tour in Europe, the United Kingdom and North America. Concert goers can expect to hear a large selection of songs from the new release "Playland", as well as tracks from his catalogs with the Smiths, and Electronic, (Marr's short lived project co-founded with New Order lead singer, Bernard Sumner). Furthermore, Johnny will also be covering songs by the Clash and the Animals.
