Although not initially well received by critics, upon its release, Appetite for Destruction is now considered one of the greatest albums ever, and shot Guns N' Roses to super stardom, as well as forever changing the hard rock sound. Many of the songs featured on Appetite for Destruction, including Sweet Child O' Mine, Welcome to the Jungle and Paradise City, continue to receive regular airplay on rock radio, worldwide.
