Aerosmith's Steven Tyler Solo Tour
Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler announced a 2018 solo tour across the United States, Canada, and Europe. He will be backed by the Loving Mary Band and the Sisterhood Band will support.
Naturally, Tyler’s tour will perform his signature hits like “Dream On” and “Sweet Emotion,” but he is also showcasing songs from his 2016 solo LP, We’re All Somebody From Somewhere.
Accompanying Tyler will be Marti Frederiksen, Nashville’s Loving Mary Band founder and Aerosmith’s collaborator, while the Sisterhood Band —Ruby Stewart and Alyssa Bonagura—will appear on select dates.
"Look, I don't expect to hit like the Beatles or be the second coming of Aerosmith," Tyler said . "It was time for a little break. I'm such a passionate person that if I don't go after my muse like that, I'll wind up on drugs again. I'll wind up arguing with people and just no good."
Tyler will headline the 2018 Jazz Fest in New Orleans and a benefit concert for Akron’s Children Hospital. Tyler hasn’t been on the road since Aerosmith’s 2017 tour ended early due to Tyler’s health issues.
