BACK IN THE SADDLE ONE LAST TIME - AEROSMITH ANNOUNCE THEIR "PEACE OUT" FAREWELL TOUR
Classic rock legends, Aerosmith, are joining their 1970s-1990s hard rock contemporaries (think KISS, Ozzy Obourne) by officially announcing their farewell tour.
Called the Peace Out tour, the band will launch a 40-date trek across North America this year, beginning on September 2, in Philadelphia, and wrapping things up on January 26, in Montreal.
Now the band hasn't specifically stated if they're going into full retirement, meaning they might still do 1-off shows or record new music - they may not, though, however. They haven't said either way. All they have said so far is "It's not goodbye, it's PEACE OUT! Get ready and walk this way, you're going to get the best show of our lives."
Drummer Joey Kramer has chosen to bow out of the tour, to focus on his health and family. Because of an injury, followed by the passing of his wife, Joey also didn't appear at Aerosmith's Deuces are Wild residency in Las Vegas, which originally began in 2019 and was put on hiatus, due to the pandemic.
Supporting Aerosmith on the Peace Out tour will be another legendary classic rock band, The Black Crowes, who are scheduled to perform at every date of the tour.
Here is the list of dates and cities for the Peace Out tour. Get your tickets soon, because the shows should sell out quickly.
