DEF LEPPARD RELEASING PYROMANIA 40TH ANNIVERSARY DELUXE EDITION
Even though it's technically 41 years old, as it was released in January 1983, classic hard rockers Def Leppard are releasing a 40th anniversary of their juggernaut, Pyromania.
Produced by uber-producer Mutt Lange, who had worked with Def Leppard on their previous album, High n Dry, Pyromania, which was the band's 3rd studio album, found them abandoning their harder rock sounds for ones that were considered more radio friendly, at the time. This, along with a plethora of videos produced for the hit singles such as Rock of Ages, Photograph and Foolin' and aired in heavy rotation on MTV, catapulted the band from relative unknowns into superstardom. To date, Pyromania has sold over 10 million copies.
In honor of the album's 40th anniversary, the band has decided to release a deluxe edition of Pyromania with a ton of extras any die-hard Def Leppard fan will appreciate including:
- remastered version of the album
- full disc of demos, including an outtake of the album's 11th track "No You Can't Do That"
- live footage from Def Leppard's December 1983 concert at Germany's Westfalenhallen
- a September 1983 concert at the Forum in Inglewood, California
- several official videos
- an instrumental mix of the album
- + much much more.
