Record Store Day Release -- AC/DC, Pink Floyd, Bruce Springsteen, and More
Legacy Recordings announced the titles it’s releasing for 2018’s Record Store Day on April 21st.
This is the greatest number of albums the label has issued since Record Store Day started 11 years ago. This year includes limited edition releases by AC/DC, Pink Floyd, and Bruce Springsteen.
For the first time in 50 years, Pink Floyd is releasing a mono vinyl version of The Piper at the Gates of Dawn. Springsteen will release his 1995 Greatest Hits on numbered, limited edition red vinyl, and AC/DC’s Back in Black will be released on cassette. Bob Dylan and the Grateful Dead’s, Dylan & the Dead, will be sold on red and blue tie-dye vinyl!
The Allman Brothers Band’s Live at the Atlanta Pop Festival, July 3 & 5, 1970, will be available for the first time on vinyl. There will be four discs with eight pages of notes and photos.
