New Lynyrd Skynyrd Documentary to Debut on Showtime in August
A new Lynyrd Skynyrd documentary which tells the “warts and
all” backstory and tragic history of southern rock’s most iconic band, premieres
on the Showtime cable network on August 18.
If I Leave Here Tomorrow: A Film About Lynyrd Skynyrd, covers the band’s enduring legacy from their birth in Jacksonville, Florida to the plane crash in 1977 that killed lead singer Ronnie Van Zant, guitarist Steve Gaines, backing vocalist Cassie Gaines, their assistant road manager, and the plane’s crew.
