Description
This Pink Floyd necklace, by Alchemy of England, spotlights the prism artwork, from the album cover, of The Dark Side of the Moon.
Released in 1973 and recorded at the famous Abbey Road Studios in London, The Dark Side of the Moon is considered one of the greatest albums, of all time, and stayed on the Billboard charts for a record 741 weeks which is equal to 15 years, after it was released. The prism artwork was originally designed by Storm Thorgerson and represents the band's stage lighting, the lyrical content of The Dark Side of the Moon's songs, as well as band member Richard Wright's desire for a "simple and bold" design.
Handmade in Leicester, England, of fine English pewter, by a small crew of artists and craftsmen, our Pink Floyd The Dark Side of the Moon album cover pendant hangs from a 21" steel chain, with a brass closure, all plated in pewter, and features Pink Floyd and The Dark Side of the Moon names engraved, into the pendant.
