Description
This Pink Floyd men's unisex sweatshirt spotlights the famous prism artwork, from The Dark Side of the Moon album cover.
Recorded at the famous Abbey Road Studios in London and released in 1973, The Dark Side of the Moon was a truly groundbreaking album, as it incorporated many of the latest advanced musical recording technologies of the time, including multi-tracking, tape loops, and analog synthesizers. Still considered one of the greatest albums to ever be released, The Dark Side of the Moon was enormously successful, staying on the Billboard charts for a record 15 years!
The album's prism artwork seen on this sweatshirt was designed by Storm Thorgerson and represents the band's stage lighting, the lyrical content of the songs on The Dark Side of the Moon, as well as the desire by band member Richard Wright, for a "simple and bold" design.
Our Pink Floyd The Dark Side of the Moon crewneck sweatshirt is made from an 80% black ring-spun cotton fleece/20% polyester blend, with spandex cuffs and bottom band, for better stretch and recovery and features the prism artwork framed by Pink Floyd's logo.
