Performed to promote Skid Row's second studio album, also titled Slave to the Grind, this concert tour began in 1991 with Skid Row opening for Guns N' Roses and concluded in 1992 with Skid Row as the headliner.
The Slave to the Grind album is the first heavy metal release to chart at number 1 in the Billboard 200 and was certified 2 times Platinum with over 2 million copies sold, by 1998.
