Description
Our Styx vintage concert tshirt is from the classic rock band's 1981 Paradise Theatre Tour.
These shows were performed to promote Styx's latest album, at the time, also called Paradise Theatre, which was released in January 1981. Paradise Theatre was the group's tenth studio album but their only release to reach number 1 and, subsequently, Styx's last album, to go multi-Platinum. Four singles charted off of Paradise Theatre, and two of them cracked the Top 10 of Billboard's Hot 100: The Best of Times and Too Much Time on My Hands. Paradise Theatre was a concept album that told a fictional account of Chicago's Paradise Theatre, from its opening, to its closing and abandonment which Styx singer, Dennis De Young, confirmed was a metaphor for the changing attitudes, of the late 1970s-early 1980s.
Made from 100% black cotton, this Styx men's unisex fashion concert tee spotlights the artwork, seen on the front cover of Paradise Theatre, surrounded by the Styx logo and Paradise Theatre Tour '81. The graphics are washed out for a true vintage look.
