Our vintage Beatles fashion tshirt spotlights the artwork seen on the 8-Track cartridge of Abbey Road.
Released on September 26, 1969, Abbey Road was The Beatles' eleventh album and while not critically well perceived, initially, it was, commercially, very successful. Incorporating a mixture of genres, including blues, rock and pop, Abbey Road continued to demonstrate The Beatles tendency to experiment with the newest types of instrumentation, including the Moog synthesizer, along with cutting edge recording techniques such as using a solid-state transistor recording deck, which allowed for sharper sounds. Abbey Road was the last album by The Beatles in which all 4 members recorded together. The album is now, critically, perceived as one of The Beatles' best and many of the songs from Abbey Road continue to receive air play on rock radio stations, around the world.
